House Parliaments: Advising Europe from the Comfort of Your Sofa

For the current issue of the Forum for "Forum Wohnen und Stadtentwicklung" by the vhw, Dr. Fuhrmann has contributed an article on the consultation and participation method he developed - House Parliaments. The political innovation of House Parliaments is an exemplary building block on the path to realizing the vision of a Learning Democracy.

House Parliaments have been successfully conducted twice in Germany on European topics over the past two years by Pulse of Europe in collaboration with the Academy. The next step is to elevate this to the European level so that citizens from other EU countries can also participate. Planning for this phase has begun: we are primarily engaged in crowdfunding and partner search. We will provide updates on new developments here on our website.
