We are convinced that a democracy that continuously evolves is better equipped to face the challenges of the 21st century. Because: We can do better, much better – we can do it together!
To realize this vision, we advocate for the establishment of democracy policy as an independent field of politics. Democracy policy means professionally and participatively managing the democratic processes and actors that form the basis of our democratic performance.
Specifically, we focus on two main areas:
- Public personnel development: We promote the skills of citizens, politicians, and other democratic actors so that they can collectively tackle the challenges of the 21st century.
- Democracy development: We develop new forms of democratic participation and collaboration to strengthen democratic participation.
We are convinced that the professionalization of democracy development can contribute to making our democracy fit and robust for the future.
