... COMPETENCIES AND TOOLS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A LEARNING DEMOCRACY
The Akademie lernende Demokratie is a vibrant center for democracy transformation. We research and develop methods and tools for democracy development. We build on the procedural theoretical foundations of the work of the Procedere network. Our goal is to find and design the appropriate, tailored procedure for each case.
We promote exchange with researchers and developers through colloquia, toolshops, and workshop conferences, in cooperation with the Procedere network and the Weltethos-Institut at the University of Tübingen. A particular focus is on building a procedure database to efficiently make democracy innovations and participation processes accessible.

With the involvement of Dr. Raban Daniel Fuhrmann, Director of the Akademie lernende Demokratie, the Intersectoral School of Governance Baden-Württemberg (ISoG BW) was inaugurated in April 2020.

The Stadtmacher Akademie, a project of the Verbandes für Wohnen und Stadtentwicklung (vhw), supports civil society actors in the sustainable and creative design of urban spaces.
HOUSE PARLIAMENTS
Since 2018, we have been implementing the democracy innovation of the European House Parliaments with Pulse of Europe to promote civil society engagement.
