You're looking for current urban policy impulses, want to learn more about municipal policy options, and advance your own project? Then apply by July 5th for the first cohort of the "Stadtmacher Akademie"!
The education and networking program of the Federal Association for Housing and Urban Development e.V. was co-developed and established by our academy.
The "Stadtmacher Akademie" aims to support creative actors who are working for sustainable and social development in their city.
In three camps and a personal advisory meeting, the Lab, there is the opportunity to advance your own project, learn about current urban policy issues from vhw research, and build a nationwide network of makers.
The term "Stadtmacher" stands for those who do not only see the city as a product of established political or economic actors, but take initiative themselves and want to initiate debates and projects at the local level to improve their own living environment.
The range extends from neighborhood initiatives to socio-cultural uses in urban spaces to the creation of socially-oriented housing in a self-initiated construction or housing project. "Stadtmacher" act not primarily out of economic interests, but out of the conviction of generating societal value.
Apply now until July 5th at www.stadtmacher-akademie.org!
The City Makers Academy is also on Facebook.
